Purdue Partners with Boomerang Ventures

Subscribe NowPurdue University has forged a partnership with Indianapolis-based venture studio and fund Boomerang Ventures, which could help push health care innovations to the market faster. The Purdue Foundry and the Purdue Research Foundation Office of Technology Commercialization are working with Boomerang to help university-related startups and intellectual property reach the next level.
The university organizations will provide lists of startups and I.P. to Boomerang, which will vet the lists to see which have the most promise for success.
“This partnership is a great way to access new technologies and increase the opportunity to bring new health care innovations to life,” said Oscar Moralez, Boomerang founder and managing partner.
Purdue Foundry Chief Entrepreneurial Officer Wade Lange says Boomerang provides product development and marketing knowledge while Purdue scientists provide deep technological expertise in health care.
