Business incubator Launch Terre Haute, the chamber of commerce and the West Central Indiana Small Business Development Center are behind the competition called Launch P@d.
“Launch P@d creates the opportunity for entrepreneurs to open a brick and mortar storefront or office with the support of other local business owners, Launch Terre Haute, the ISBDC and Chamber,” says Launch Director Jared Ell. “The winner will have a built-in support system.”
Interested participants are encouraged to visit the Launch Terre Haute website for additional details and to submit a business plan. A callout meeting is set for September 7 for interested entrepreneurs. Participants will be notified of their selection to the program September 13.
The winner will have access to a 700-square-foot office space on Wabash Avenue, next to The Saratoga restaurant. The restaurant owners also own the open space, who are reducing the rent in support of the competition.
