Subscribe NowTraders Point Christian Schools has appointed Janise Stone director of college and career guidance, a newly-created position made possible via funding from Scholar Project 2.0. Prior to joining the team at TPCS, she served as a career pathways specialist, student service director and as school counselor coordinator for the Indianapolis Public Schools, coordinating college and career readiness initiatives for over 70 schools. Before IPS, Stone served as a guidance director in Wayne Township where she provided direct support for more than 400 students. In addition to these experiences, she has a background in mental health counseling services including a master’s degree in School Counseling and Mental Health.
She will lead the Schools’ effort to ensure that upper school students receive the necessary supports to assist them in identifying their strengths, interests, and post-secondary goals. In addition, Stone will plan and coordinate regular college and career-readiness support activities with the goal to assist students on acceptance to competitive four-year universities and in some instances, placement in career-trending jobs upon graduation.

Traders Point Christian Schools is located on a 25-acre campus on the northwest side of
Indianapolis in Whitestown, the fastest growing community in Indiana. Fully accredited with
over 550 students from six diverse counties, the school offers a private Christian education for
students in early childhood through 12th grade.
