The contract research organization says it will now offer medical device pathology as it continues to provide support for medical device clients following its 2019 acquisition of Pre-Clinical Research Services Inc. in Colorado.
Previously, Inotiv had often outsourced pathology services for medical device clients to third parties. As part of the expansion, the company has hired Dr. Nicolette Jackson as director of medical device pathology.
“I am pleased to announce that we are now able to provide broader and more comprehensive in-house services to our medical device clients,” Dr. Don Maul, senior vice president of surgical models for Inotiv, said in a news release. “We believe Dr. Jackson’s experience and expertise will enable us to significantly reduce our dependence on outside contractors for medical device pathology.”
Jackson joins Inotiv after serving in a similar role for Virginia-based StageBio. She will be based out of Inotiv’s office in Fort Collins, Colorado.
