Opus says the development is a joint venture with New York-based Clarion Partners LLC.
In addition, Opus says it is nearing completion on a more than 860,000-square-foot, build-to-suit adjacent industrial building.
“Opus is eager to further expand our presence within this growing industrial hub and respond to market demands for additional industrial space,” said Doug Swain, vice president and general manager at Opus. “The buildings will have direct access to transportation routes and will provide future tenants ample space to meet their business needs.”
Building A and Building B will consist of more than 800,000 square feet and nearly 300,000 square feet, respectively. Opus says speculative office space will be integrated into both buildings.
“Point 70 Logistics Park helps to fulfill our county’s need for available industrial space,” said Randy Sorrell, executive director of Hancock County’s Economic Development Council.
The buildings are expected to be complete next summer.
