The organization says the Healthy Business Certification program will help businesses better respond to a pandemic in the future.
The program includes a three-hour training session in which individuals can learn about existing best practices to “ensure all employees function in a healthy work environment.” Participants will hear about the standards and regulations put in place by OSHA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
The participants will receive a template for creating a Business Prevention Plan for their company. The IMA says once the course is completed and the Business Prevention Plan has been submitted, participants will receive a Healthy Business Certification, which will be good for one year and required to be renewed annually.
The first virtual IMA Healthy Business Certification program will take place in late July and class size will be limited to 25 spots. You can learn more about the program by clicking here.
