Ancilla says the degree joins the college’s current associate degree programs in agriculture, business, education, exercise science, liberal arts and veterinary nursing.
“Marian University has a long history of training effective nurses through our faith-based education,” said Marsha Casey, senior vice president for health professions. “It is our mission to develop more transformational leaders who are prepared to make a positive impact in healthcare and the communities they serve. This program in Northern Indiana gives students a new option to pursue their calling to be a bachelor’s prepared nurse.”
The college says the campus-based program provides training through general education curriculum, including a six-semester clinical rotation with local hospital partners in Marshall and surrounding counties. Students will get hands-on nursing experiences in and out of the classroom.
