The $15 million project is currently under construction on the city’s near northeast side.
The event will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Him by Her Collegiate School, located at 4510 East 32nd Street in Indy. Officials say they are looking to fill construction and manufacturing jobs for the facility.
Those interested in attending the hiring are being asked to RSVP via email.
Plans for the 40,000-square-foot manufacturing plant were first announced last November. Cook and Goodwill, along with the Indianapolis Foundation and the United Northeast Community Development Corp., say the goal is to bring 100 jobs to an impoverished neighborhood in Indy.
The facility will manufacture medical devices, including components for introducers, sheaths, drainage catheters, and needles. Construction on the facility is expected to be complete by early 2022.
