According to our partners at WTHI-TV, Terre Haute-based Reach Services is planning to open a facility called the Day Center.
Executive Director Susie Thompson says the center will fill important community needs.
“We’re hoping to be able to address some of those issues through the day center by providing people opportunities and different options for their lives,” said Thompson. “For those that need recovery we hope to get them in recovery, and we’ve partnered with recovery places. We are hopeful that we can get them into mental health counseling if that’s an issue.”
Reach Services say it had planned to open the Day Center before winter, but now it is planning to open the facility this summer.
