The Columbus Small Business Loan program, Columbus Invigorate, offers loans between $5,000 and $25,000.
The first round of the loan program closed in late April, after disbursing loans to approximately 40 businesses, totaling $700,000.
The city says it still has about $300,000 available for the loan program. The funding will be distributed on a first come first served basis for companies that meet the requirements.
While applications are due by September 30, the city urges business owners not to delay submitting the request.
To be eligible, the business must be inside city limits, must have fewer than 50 employees, and businesses must commit to remain open and retain employees.
Other rules apply as well. Click here to learn more about the program.
