The chamber believes its policy agenda will bring short-term and long-term economic growth for the state.
The list contains more than 30 recommended policies that address six areas: economic stimulus, employment, health, tax, and unemployment, as well as federal initiatives.
“We’re encouraging all state and federal officials to thoughtfully consider the agenda. We believe there is an opportunity to garner bipartisan support for a number of the proposals,” said Kevin Brinegar, Indiana Chamber president and chief executive officer.
The Indiana Chamber said its policy committees will add more specific initiatives as the economic recovery progresses.
