First Internet Bank Grants $250K

Subscribe NowFishers-based First Internet Bancorp (Nasdaq: INBK) has announced plans to provide $250,000 to small businesses and nonprofit organizations in Marion and Hamilton counties amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The bank says IMPACT Central Indiana will also contribute a dollar-to-dollar match.
First Internet Bank says the funds will be allocated through the Indy Chamber of Commerce’s Business Ownership Initiative to help offset financial challenges.
“We have mobilized resources to provide additional support to our customers, associates and communities. Now, by joining forces with IMPACT, First Internet Bank can also help the most vulnerable in underserved areas receive the financial assistance they need today and in the future,” said David Becker, president and chief executive officer of First Internet Bank.
The bank says its contributions will help promote continued long-term economic growth for struggling businesses and nonprofits.
