Eli Lilly and Co. has named Kathryn Beiser vice president of global communications. She most recently served as senior advisor for APCO Worldwide. Prior to that, Beiser served as global chair of corporate practice for Edelman Public Relations Worldwide. She has also served as executive vice president of corporate communications for Hilton Worldwide and was vice president of corporate communications for Discover Financial Services. Beiser has also worked for several of public relations firms, including Burson-Marsteller, Golin and Hill & Knowlton.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Northwestern University and a master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern.
