IU, Crane to Share Space on Bloomington Campus

Subscribe NowA shared permanent space will be allocated on the Indiana University Bloomington campus to allow for more collaboration between IU and Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division. The Multidisciplinary Engineering and Sciences Hall is being converted into a laboratory space to allow for more work on engineering, informatics and computing.
IU President Michael McRobbie and NSWC Crane Technical Director Brett Seidle have signed a renewed Educational Partnership Agreement that allowed the initiative, which was originally signed in 2011.
“With this newest initiative, IU and Crane will further their efforts to provide expert leadership and highly specialized technologies toward solving today’s most critical national security challenges. Additionally, by continuing to collaborate in areas of mutual research and technology strength, IU and Crane will also help improve regional workforce development and economic prosperity, as well as the security of the Hoosier state”, said McRobbie.
