Its former owner, Innocor Foam Technologies Inc. in New Jersey, has merged with Pennsylvania-based FXI. The deal was first announced last March.
To receive regulatory approval from the Federal Trade Commission, the combined company had to sell three production plants, including one in Elkhart. Those facilities were sold to Future Foam Inc., which is in Iowa.
The joint company, operating under the FXI name, specializes in the production of polyurethane foam used in the bedding, furniture, healthcare, and automotive industries.
