December Revenue Exceeds Estimates

Subscribe NowIndiana General Fund revenues for December totaled $1.5 billion, which is 1% higher than estimates based on a revised revenue forecast. The Indiana State Budget Agency says the state’s revenue total last month is up 3.9% from the same month the previous year.
The state budget agency says the revenue estimates were revised in mid-December to include the estimated impact of legislative actions taken by the General Assembly in the 2019 legislative session.
The state says collections of sales, individual income and corporate taxes were above estimates. But revenue from racino and riverboat wagering were below the monthly estimates.
