Indianapolis-based Lilly Endowment Inc. and the Center for Leadership Development are scheduled to make what the organizations are calling a “major announcement” Tuesday morning.

CLD President Dennis Bland and Lilly Endowment President & CEO N. Clay Robbins will be joined by Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett and other city and county officials.

The center provides programs to support the development and education of African American and other minority youth. It also helps adults trying to achieve personal and academic success.

CLD say it’s committed to teaching five cornerstone values; character, education, leadership, service and career.

The announcement is scheduled for 10 am Tuesday at the CLD office.
