(Nasdaq: BASI) has launched a rebranded contract research services business, Inotiv. The company says the rebrand represents the union of several acquisitions it has made over the past two years.
BASi has experienced vast growth the past two years, including the acquisition of Colorado-based Pre-Clinical Research Services Inc., which was announced just this week.
In May, BASi announced the purchase of Maryland-based Smithers Avanza Toxicology Services. In July 2018, it acquired Missouri-based Seventh Wave Laboratories.
The company says the rebrand reflects an increased scope of services as a contract research organization for drug discovery and development.
“We provide a full range of nonclinical and analytical services and adapt them seamlessly to each client’s goals. With the timely, focused insights they deserve, clients get the answers they need to advance confidently to their next milestones,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Leasure. “Developers should expect more from their laboratory partners.”
The company’s products business will continue to operate under the name BASi, and trade under the ticker symbol “BASI.”
