Missouri-based Core & Main LP, a distributor of fire hydrants and other water and sewer products, has expanded its footprint into Indiana.  The company says it will acquire substantially all of the assets of J & J Municipal Supply Inc. and Erosion Resources & Supply Inc., two companies with operations based in Boonville.

Financial terms were undisclosed. 

J & J is a distributor of fire hydrants and related products.  Erosion Resources specializes in devices to help control erosion and sediment at construction sites and road work.

“I believe joining our combined resources with Core & Main will continue our commitment to quality customer service and products. Our team members will benefit from the opportunities for learning and growth that Core & Main can offer as well,” said Jane Ann Fleener, owner of Erosion Resources & Supply.
 
Core & Main says completion of the two acquisitions will make a total of nine companies it has acquired since 2017.
