Professional Soccer Entering Fort Wayne Market
The school says the search process is already underway for head coaches for both programs.

NPSL is in the fourth tier of the United States soccer pyramid.
The club says its mission is to make soccer the preeminent sport in Fort Wayne and the entire region. The owners hope to develop world-class players, using Fort Wayne FC as a steppingstone.
“Not only will Fort Wayne FC compete successfully, but as part of the community it will generate a positive economic impact for Fort Wayne and its surrounding area and will make Fort Wayne a destination for soccer enthusiasts,” said the FWFC in a news release.
The club will begin competing next May in the Midwest region’s Great Lakes Conference. Other teams in that division include five teams from Michigan; Detroit, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Muskegon and two teams from Ohio; Columbus and Toledo.
The NPSL has 91 teams in 13 conferences and 4 regions around the country.
Greg Mauch will serve as General Manager. Mauch is a member of the Indiana Soccer Hall of Fame.
