Valicor Environmental acquired Fort Wayne-based Action Environmental

Subscribe NowOhio-based Valicor Environmental Services has announced the acquisition of Fort Wayne-based Action Environmental. Both businesses provide non-hazardous wastewater treatment services to a variety of industries.
Valicor is owned by Pritzker Private Capital, which partnered with management in July 2019. Prior to that move, Valicor has been in expansion mode. The company says it has increased its number of centralized wastewater treatment plants from five to 13 over the past two years.
In addition to the purchase of Action Environmental, the company has also recently acquired Louisville-based Green River.
“Action increases Valicor’s scale and processing capabilities in an adjacent geography. We continue to enthusiastically support…the Valicor team as they expand (the) national network and service offering to better serve its customers,” said Ryan Roberts, investment partner with Pritzker Private Capital.
Valicor transports and processes wastewater streams that are generated from the manufacture of industrial and consumer goods. The company disposes of such waste as oily water, leachate, and soaps used to flush industrial pipes, helping customers meet federal, state and local environmental regulations.
