The second will be held Sunday, August 18 at 2pm EDT in Clowes Hall on the campus of Butler University. Kor and her family were taken to the Auschwitz concentration camp in 1944 where she and her twin sister Miriam were subjected to experimentation by Nazi doctor Joseph Mengele. They were among 200 twins rescued from Auschwitz in 1945. In 2017, Governor Eric Holcomb presented Kor with the state’s highest honor, the Sachem Award.
