 St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis has named Lori Shannon president, effective immediately. In her new role, she will work collaborate with the St. Vincent Heart Center Chair and Board of Directors to develop the strategic and operational direction of the hospital to meet the needs of the community.

 She will also focus on maintaining effective relationships with medical staff leadership, providers, potential strategic partners, associates, system executives and officers.

Shannon previously worked at Navion Healthcare Solutions as executive director before joining St. Vincent Heart Center in 2014 as the statewide cardiovascular nurse executive and chief nursing officer. As a nursing executive, she worked with cardiovascular service line leaders across the state to develop and implement patient care programs at all St. Vincent sites.
