NE Indiana Regional Partnership Creates Mentor Program

The program seeks to connect Northeast Indiana students with professionals in the business community while helping employers attract, retain and develop talent.
The Engage Mentoring program with use a software system to help employees build mentoring skills and connect with qualified mentors in the business community.
The program includes a talent executive roundtable of professionals that will discuss tactics and share best practices. Barry Schrock and Joshua Wenning of Summit Coaching and Consulting will facilitate those discussions, and 14 companies are currently signed up to participate.
“We are thrilled to offer the Engage Mentoring program to our employees,” Susan Boyd, vice president of human resources at Rea Magnet Wire said in a news release, “Now more than ever, employers need resources and strategies for employee engagement and development. This program will be a powerful tool in their arsenal.”
