Fort Wayne-based DuCharme, McMillen & Associates Inc., a tax consulting firm serving the U.S. and Canada, has promoted Dan Hutmacher to president and chief executive officer. He had been serving as interim president and CEO since Dave Meinika stepped down in April. Hutmacher joined the firm in 1989 and quickly moved through the company’s ranks, serving in a variety of operational and managerial roles with increasing responsibilities.

He most recently served as chief operating officer, having ultimate responsibility for all of the company’s operations across the U.S. and Canada.
