Governor Eric Holcomb has announced another round of appointments and reappointments to various boards and commissions, as well as new judicial selections. They include the Early Learning Advisory Committee, the Great Lakes Commission and the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Board.
The appointments include:
Board for Proprietary Education
- Anne Shane (Indianapolis) will join the board. Her term expires September 30, 2022.
- Jean Putnam (Noblesville) will join the board. Her term expires September 30, 2022.
Early Learning Advisory Committee
- Betsy Delgado (Carmel) will join the committee and will serve at the pleasure of the governor.
- Mary Gardner (Indianapolis) will join the committee and will serve at the pleasure of the governor.
- Dr. Nancy Holsapple (on behalf of the Department of Education) will join the committee and will serve at the pleasure of the governor.
- Lacey Kottkamp (on behalf of FSSA) will continue her service on the committee and will serve at the pleasure of the governor.
- Nicole Norvell (on behalf of FSSA) will continue her service on the committee and will serve at the pleasure of the governor.
- Christopher Stokes (Indianapolis) will continue his service on the committee and will serve at the pleasure of the governor.
- Kerri Wortinger (Gas City) will join the committee and will serve at the pleasure of the governor.
Environmental Rules Board
- Paul Gilson (Indianapolis) will join the board. His term expires September 30, 2021.
Fire Prevention & Building Safety Commission
- Gregory Furnish (Memphis) will continue his service on the commission. His term expires August 31, 2022.
- James “Wes” Jordan (Carmel) will continue his service on the commission. His term expires August 31, 2022.
- Jessica Scheurich (Waterloo) will continue her service on the commission. Her term expires August 31, 2022.
Great Lakes Commission
- Sharon M. Jackson will continue her service on the commission. Her term expires December 31, 2022.
- Bruno L. Pigott will continue his service on the commission. His term expires December 31, 2022.
- Jody W. Peacock will continue his service on the commission. His term expires December 31, 2022.
- Steve Fisher (Washington, D.C.) will continue his service on the commission. His term expires December 31, 2022.
- Kay L. Nelson (Portage) will continue her service on the commission. Her term expires December 31, 2022.
Indiana Criminal Justice Institute Board of Trustees
- Rebecca Humphrey (Lafayette) will continue her service on the board. Her term expires July 31, 2022.
Indiana School for the Deaf Board
- Terri Miller (Carmel) will continue her service on the board. Her term expires August 31, 2022.
Indiana Worker’s Compensation Board
- Daniel Foote (Indianapolis) will continue his service on the board. His term expires August 31, 2021.
- Linda Hamilton (Ft. Wayne) will continue her service on the board and will continue as chair. Her term expires January 1, 2023.
- Diane Parsons (Indianapolis) will continue her service on the board. Her term expires August 31, 2022.
- Bridgett Repay (Schererville) will join the board. Her term expires January 1, 2023.
- Kyle Samons (Greenville) will join the board. His term expires August 31, 2022.
- James Sarkisian (Valparaiso) will continue his service on the board. His term expires August 31, 2022.
Vincennes University Board of Trustees
- Brianna Jobe (Vincennes) will continue her service on the board as Student Trustee. Her term expires September 30, 2019.
Ports of Indiana Commission
- Kari Pfau Estes (Jeffersonville) will join the commission. Her term will expire in 2020.
Judicial Appointments
- Matthew A. Sheehan – Terre Haute City Court
- Judith Corcoran Benckart – Monroe County Circuit Court
- David M. Zent – Allen County Superior Court Criminal Division
