Justice Department Awards Millions to Combat Opioid Abuse

The BJA’s Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Site-based Program provides financial and technical help to state and local jurisdictions to identify, treat and support those affected by opioid abuse.
The Indiana recipients are:

- Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County- $900,000
- Family and Social Services Administration- $4,313,050
- Criminal Justice Institute- $735,950
- State Department of Health- $1,000,000
- Miami County Government- $443,656
- Marion Superior Court- $500,000
- Knox County- $499,597
- Indiana University- $445,244
- City of Fort Wayne- $144,347
