The Southwest Indiana Technology and Collaboration Hub Network, or SWITCH, plans to establish a network of entrepreneurial centers to provide shared resources for entrepreneurs.
Radius says the SWITCH Network Feasibility Study will "bring together the public and private sectors by building an economic development roadmap to strengthen the regional economy, support private capital investment and create jobs throughout the region."
The SIDC and Radius are accepting proposals through October 26. The organizations are seeking proposals from firms with "considerable experience in entrepreneurial and economic development growth." You can find more about the RFP by clicking here.
The feasibility study is being funded by a grant from the federal Economic Development Administration. It will involve local economic development organizations in each of the 11-counties covered by the region, three regional planning commissions, and other organizations such as Radius, the Southwest Indiana Development Council, Regional Opportunity Initiatives Inc. and the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
