The city of Fort Wayne’s Community Development Division has hired Susan Eisenhauer as neighborhood code compliance director. She replaces Cindy Joyner, who is now division director of community development.

Eisenhauer has a career history in both legal work and the social service field. She earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. Eisenhauer lived in Fort Wayne in the mid-90s through 2002, during which time she worked for the Indiana Supreme Court. Since returning, she has worked as an organizational consultant, hearing officer for the Indiana Supreme Court and executive director for Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic.

Eisenhauer volunteers for several community organizations and serves on the Board of Directors for The League for the Blind & Disabled.
