A rally is slated for 7 p.m. local time at the Ford Center in the city’s downtown. Trump’s last visit to the state came in May, when he hosted a rally in Elkhart.
During his campaign for the office, then-Republican candidate Trump visited the Vanderburgh County city in 2016. Donald J. Trump for President Inc. says topics to be covered include the economy, his support for Republican Senate candidate and businessman Mike Braun, who is running against incumbent Senator Joe Donnelly (D-IN), immigration policies and coal industry regulations.
