Officials in Kokomo will Tuesday afternoon announce plans for what the city is calling a major development. Mayor Greg Goodnight will provide details on a new hotel and conference center in the city’s downtown.

Goodnight will be joined by Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance President Charlie Sparks and Howard County Commissioner Paul Wyman, along with the project’s developers and other guests for the announcement. No other details were provided.

The announcement is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at Kokomo City Hall.
