He has more than 28 years of healthcare design experience and has planned, designed, and managed numerous large and small healthcare and life science projects throughout the Midwest.
In his new role, Farmer will focus on envisioning healthcare projects that integrate long-term overall wellness through functional and solution-oriented design. He has received degrees in both Construction Management and Architectural Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati.
Farmer has been the lead architect on projects of up to $1.1B throughout the United States with a recent focus on the Midwest. His work designing and managing healthcare facility projects has been recognized with multiple awards for outstanding performance.
In central Indiana, Farmer has led two prominent local healthcare projects: A $50M new medical campus for Riverview Health’s Westfield Hospital and a $12M renovation of Franciscan Health– Indianapolis South’s hospital. The Riverview Health Westfield Hospital is one of the most sustainable healthcare facilities recently built in the Indianapolis region.
Farmer plans to approach his new role with a primary focus on connecting communities to healthcare facilities that offer a variety of services in one place.
