Marjorie Lyles has been selected to lead the Academy of International Business, which has nearly 3,400 members in 94 countries.
The Academy of International Business is an association of scholars and specialists in international business. She became a fellow at the academy in 2005. She also serves as an area editor for the organization’s Journal of International Business Studies.
Lyles was hired by the Kelley School in 1977, making her its first female management professor. Her research is focused on emerging markets, global strategic management, organizational learning, strategic planning systems and cooperative strategies.
