The company, which provides aftermarket services to area orthopedic companies, says the larger facility will accommodate EnPak’s expanding customer base.
EnPak specializes in packaging and labeling services, label development, inventory warehousing and management, scrap disposal, instrument and implant kitting, and project management. Chief Executive Officer Marlene Mulero-Betances says the company has seen growth from its customers within the orthopedic industry and is now serving customers outside of it.
"We are very excited for this opportunity to better serve our customers and our employees," said Mulero-Betances. “There has been a significant increase in the demand for our inventory management services, and the additional space will allow us to expand that offering. It is a great location with easy access to state roads 30 and 15, and has some additional amenities for our employees."
Mulero-Betances says the new facility was move-in ready, which meant there was no need for additional investment by the company. The move did not create any new jobs, though Mulero-Betances says they hope to add more positions in the future.
