Subscribe NowThe Indiana Innovation Institute has named Julie Griffith executive vice president for strategy, partnerships and outreach. She previously served as vice president for public affairs for Purdue University, providing leadership and having responsibility for marketing, media, strategic communications, trademarks and licensing, state and federal governmental relations. Griffith has also held senior leadership positions with Fortune 150 and Fortune 500 companies with experience in governmental relations, regulatory affairs, business development and marketing. Throughout her career, she has served her state and community by serving on numerous boards, chairing several. Griffith earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Ball State University and has completed numerous executive leadership development and professional development programs.
Also, Bill Kiser has been promoted to executive vice president for science and technology. He most recently served as director of the Penn State Electro-Optics Center in Freeport, Pennsylvania, where he oversaw center operations and provided technical support on projects for the Department of Defense. Kiser has technical experience in multiple classes of DoD systems including Directed Energy, Night Vision/IR systems, Sensor Networks and UAV payloads. He has more than 25 years in product development for the DoD, medical and chemical industries.
Kiser received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Grove City College and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from George Mason University. He earned his PhD in Medical/Health Physics from Purdue University and conducted his Post-Doctoral Research at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where he was one of the co-developers of Photoacoustic Computed Tomography, and conducted his Post-Doctoral Research at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
