Manufacturer to Cut Ribbon in Daviess County

Subscribe NowGovernor Eric Holcomb will Tuesday join officials in Daviess County to celebrate the opening of a new manufacturing operation along the new I-69 corridor. Japan-based M&C Tech Indiana is investing $4.6 million into the Washington facility, which is expected to create up to 70 jobs by 2021.
M&C Tech first announced plans for the 40,000-square-foot facility in November 2016. The company is a joint venture between Moriroku Chemicals and Chubu Chemicals and the new facility will manufacture plastic parts for the automotive industry.
Holcomb, along with Washington Mayor Joe Wellman and executives from M&C Tech, will cut the ribbon on the plant during a special ceremony scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
