Conference to Spotlight ‘Impact Investing’

The Carlyle Group Co-Executive Chairman David Rubenstein will join executives from organizations including BioCrossroads, AgriNovus and Elevate Ventures at the Leadership Engagement and Discovery Conference.
The conference is being hosted February 8-9 by the Randall L. Tobias Center for Leadership Excellence. It will take place at the Alexander hotel in downtown Indianapolis. Organizers say the event, titled "Investing to Change the World by 2050," will bring together business professionals, researchers and community leaders to discuss investing in social impact ventures.
Rubenstein helped launch The Carlyle Group in 1987. It currently manages $174 billion in assets from 31 offices around the world. He also hosts "The David Rubenstein Show" on Bloomberg TV.
