State employees could see more in their paychecks this year. Governor Eric Holcomb has authorized pay-for-performance increases of up to four percent based on evaluations that will be conducted in January.

Employees who meet expectations in their evaluations will receive a 2 percent increase, those who exceed expectations will get a 3 percent bump, and employees who receive an "outstanding" rating will receive a 4 percent pay raise.

"I am grateful to work alongside the men and women who are the force behind the service Hoosiers have come to expect from their state government," Holcomb said in a news release. "I am pleased to authorize performance-based raises for a job well done."
