Tropicana Evansville, which held its grand opening in October, says it is looking to hire for positions including dealers, casino hosts and security officers.
The job fair is set for Thursday, January 11 at the Tropicana Evansville Hotel in the Las Vegas and Atlantic City Conference Rooms from 4:00-7:00 CST. The casino says it is also looking for count room attendants, bartenders and valet attendants.
The attraction moved inland earlier this year after being a riverboat casino for more than 20 years. The venue now boasts 45,000 square feet of gaming space with nearly 1,200 slot games, a dedicated poker room and more than 30 live tables featuring games including blackjack, craps and roulette. The complex also includes a 243-room hotel tower and 95-room boutique hotel.
