Habitat For Humanity Names Executive Director

He has 13 years of experience in a similar role at two other affiliates. Jackson oversaw the construction of 114 homes, managed budgets of more than $3 million and expanded the construction capacity of one affiliate from one home per year to 7.5 homes per year. The affiliate’s ReStore also increased its net profits by 46% under his supervision. In 2003, he managed a $3.5 million, 27 home Jimmy Carter Work Project in the Valdosta Georgia area.
Jackson has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, both from Valdosta State University. He has used this education in various ways, spending many years serving his community. In addition to his work with Habitat for Humanity, he owned and operated a successful retail business for 23 years, worked in the Human Resources field and started a nonprofit service organization serving as its executive director.
