A Washington D.C.-based Real Estate Investment Trust has taken over ownership of another South Bend property. Easterly Government Properties Inc. (NYSE: DEA) has acquired a Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic. Financial details were not disclosed.

The more than 86,000-square-foot clinic brings the total number of properties operated by Easterly to 47. In January, the REIT acquired the U.S. Bankruptcy Courthouse in South Bend.

Easterly did not provide details on whether any jobs at the VA Clinic would be affected by the transaction. The company did not respond to a request for comment from Inside INdiana Business.
