TCC, which bills itself as the largest Verizon Premium Wireless retailer in the U.S., says the event will feature networking opportunities and a keynote address from the winningest tournament poker player of all time.
Daniel Negreanu is a six-time World Series of Poker champion and two-time World Poker Tour champion. TCC says he will share lessons he has learned through his poker career and discuss how to apply them in other walks of life.
TCC says global vendors including Google, Motorola, LG and Samsung will be on-hand to showcase their latest products. The event will also feature presentations from TCC, Verizon Wireless and Samsung executives.
During the event, TCC employees are being encouraged to donate food, clothing and personal hygiene supplies to the Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation through its Culture of Good program. Last year, TCC announced a five-year partnership with Riley Children’s Foundation involving a more than $1 million commitment, and helped cut the ribbon on a high-tech playroom at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, partially funded by the Culture For Good Program.
Negreanu says connecting with companies gives him a type of adrenaline rush he doesn’t find at the poker table.
