AgriNovus Indiana says the effort aims to "magnify the image" of the state’s agbiosciences sector and position Indiana as the center for agricultural innovation.
The organization says the campaign will also focus on the sector’s contributions to the Indiana economy, including employing more than 75,000 Hoosiers and generating a $16 billion impact.
AgriNovus Chief Executive Officer Beth Bechdol says the campaign will spotlight the convergence of traditional agriculture, pharma and life sciences. "These sectors are colliding to create an environment that fosters innovation, supports entrepreneurs, and creates unlimited opportunities for the 21st century workforce,” says Bechdol.
One of the centerpieces of the campaign is a two-minute video featuring state and industry leaders including Governor Eric Holcomb, Purdue University President Mitch Daniels, Eli Lilly and Co. (NYSE: LLY) CEO Dave Ricks and Dow AgroSciences Commercial Leader for U.S. Crop Protection Susanne Wasson.
Carmel-based marketing and branding firm THE PLAID AGENCY is working with AgriNovus to develop the campaign.
