Subscribe NowLieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch has named six recipients of grants through the Place Based Investment Fund. The funding will support public venues and quality of place projects in communities throughout Indiana.
The program is run through a partnership between the Indiana Office of Tourism Development and Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs. This is the fifth year for the competitive matching grant program focusing on quality of life, tourism and public gathering places. You can see more about the grant program by clicking here.
The recipients are:
The city of Greencastle: $50,000 for the Robe-Ann Park Bandshell
The city of Jeffersonville: $50,000 for the Triangle Play Lot
The city of Rockport: $50,000 for the Art Park
The city of Shelbyville: $21,200 for the Japanese Cultural Garden
The city of Tell City: $50,000 for the Tell City Train Depot
The town of Warren: $28,800 for the Downtown Park
