RQAW Corp. has named Christina Bertram (pictured) a civil CAD designer. She has more than 10 years of direct experience from her past roles as a CAD technician at GRW Engineers in Indianapolis and Stoeppelwerth & Associates Inc. in Fishers, where she worked on construction plans for various structures. Her expertise includes computer drafting and assisting with replacements of waterlines and sewers, as well as road projects, including roundabouts, lane extensions and new roads. She is an Indianapolis native. 

Jackie Dohrenwend has been appointed bridge project manager. Her bridge project management and design experience has been applied to several facilities across the state, including projects such as U.S. 24 over Wabash River, Posey County Bridge No. 95, I-64 over Indiana Southern Railroad, Ohio River Bridges on Interstate 65 and the new U.S. 31 in Hamilton County. Dohrenwend holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis from Purdue University. She is a native of Owensboro, Kentucky.

Also, Dillon Reynolds (pictured) has been named civil engineer in the water resource division. His design experience includes roles as a site designer for various projects throughout the state, including the Superior Oil office and warehouse building and the Meritex Park industrial building, both in Indianapolis. Reynolds’ experience also includes the Ball State Dr. Don Shondell Practice Center addition in Muncie and the Duke Energy Lebanon Prairie Creek substation in Lebanon. He holds a bachelor-of-science degree in civil engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. 

Ben Wernz has also joined the firm as a staff engineer in the transportation department. He brings six years of experience in civil engineering to RQAW with technical specialties in testing, machine maintenance, quality control, system redesign, research, development and process engineering for Heritage Research Group. Wernz holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a specialization in materials from Purdue University.
