The new service is set to begin November 12. Frontier’s current nonstop destinations from Indianapolis include Las Vegas, Denver, Orlando and Fort Meyers. The airport says previously, Southwest Airlines offered the only nonstop flights between Indianapolis and Tampa.
"The more new routes and options our airline partners make available to destinations of interest to travelers, the louder the message that Indy is worth the investment," said Mario Rodriguez, executive director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority.
Earlier this week, the airport ranked among the 10 best domestic airports in Travel + Leisure Magazine’s "World Best Awards for 2017."
