Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, however a spokesperson for Exotic says the company plans to add a small number of jobs by the end of the year.
Sidener Engineering, which distributes fluid power, pneumatic and engineered safety products, currently employs 17 workers at its Noblesville location. President Greg Sidener says the acquisition will expand the company’s marketing, sales, engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
Steve Orlando, vice president of sales and marketing at Exotic, says the deal will further expand the company’s footprint throughout the United States. "One of our first initiatives will be to assist Sidener in promoting proprietary foundry & safety products throughout the US."
Exotic Automation & Supply has nine other locations throughout Michigan and a service center in Cleveland.
