Pharma Company Adding Shift, Jobs in Whitestown

Subscribe NowA St. Louis-based pharmaceutical delivery company is adding another shift at its operation in Whitestown. Express Scripts (Nasdaq: ESRX) says it will create 160 jobs as a result of increasing capacity at the facility in the AllPoints at Anson development.
Express Scripts currently employs more than 320 in Whitestown. The company expects to boost production capacity by more than 40 percent to 850,000 filled prescriptions by the summer. The new jobs will be third shift and the company says open positions range from supervisors and clerks to warehouse responsibilities to pharmacy technicians.
Express Scripts has six automated pharmacies throughout the country like the one in Boone County. Whitestown is home to the company’s oncology Therapeutic Resource Centers, employing clinicians, patient care advocates, dieticians and social workers focused on cancer treatment.
