Indy, Indiana Teams Set For Tourney

Subscribe NowThree Indiana teams will play in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and eight others will head to Indianapolis this week for first- and second-round games. Purdue University, Butler University and the University of Notre Dame earned spots in the tournament, while the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville will be among those playing at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
All three Indiana teams will begin play Thursday. Purdue, a four seed, will play 13 seed Vermont. Four seed Butler will play Winthrop and five seed Notre Dame will play Princeton.
First- and second-round play in Indianapolis will take place on Friday and Sunday. The schedule is:
Friday, March 17th:

Following Game 1………..(2) Louisville vs. (15) Jacksonville St.
7:10 pm…………………………..(7) Dayton vs. (10) Wichita State
Following Game 3….(2) Kentucky vs. (15) Northern Kentucky
