The trip will include meetings with the U.K.’s international trade secretary as well as executives from Rolls-Royce and ArcelorMittal.
The delegation met Sunday with British Consul General in Chicago Stephen Bridges. Monday’s schedule includes meetings with senior officials at Rolls-Royce in Derby, England and senior executives at transmission system manufacturer Xtrac.
On Tuesday, Holcomb and others will meet with the chief executive officer of Tate & Lyle and the minister of state for Europe and the Americas. The group will then meet with the ArcelorMittal CEO Lakshmi Mittal. The delegation is set to return to Indiana on Wednesday.
In addition to Holcomb, the delegation includes Indiana Secretary of Commerce Victor Smith and Indiana Economic Development Corp. President Jim Schellinger.
